MindMapLight: Privacy Policy

Article 1 (Introduction)

sweet spot apps ("we", "us", or "our") takes the privacy of its users seriously in providing the mobile application "MindMapLight" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out how the App handles information.

Article 2 (Information handled by the App)

The App handles the following information. All of it is stored solely on the user's device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Mind map content created by the user (item text, outline structure, notes, and attached images)
Mind map titles and library organization data
App settings (language, layout preferences, and other user preferences)

Article 3 (No collection of personal information)

We do not collect any personal information through the App, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or location data. The App has no account or sign-in.

Article 4 (Photo library access)

1. When you attach an image to a mind map item, the App uses the system photo picker provided by Apple Inc.

2. Only the photo you select is copied into the App's local data. The App does not request access to your full photo library and cannot read photos you have not chosen.

Article 5 (iCloud backup)

If the user has enabled iCloud backup, the App's data may be stored in Apple's iCloud in encrypted form. This is a standard Apple feature and we have no access to such data.

Article 6 (Disclosure to third parties)

We do not disclose user information to any third party, except in the following cases:

When required by law
When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person
When the user has given consent

Article 7 (Data storage and deletion)

1. App data is stored on the user's device.

2. Users can delete an individual mind map within the App, or delete all of the App's data from their device by uninstalling the App.

3. For data deletion in the case of iCloud backup, please follow Apple's instructions.

Article 8 (Children's privacy)

The App has no specific age restriction, but if children use the App we ask that they do so with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

Article 9 (Analytics and advertising)

The App does not use any tracking tools for user behavior analytics or advertising, including Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or advertising networks. There are no ads in the App.

Article 10 (Changes to this Policy)

1. We may modify this Policy as necessary.

2. Material changes will be announced within the App or on our official website.

3. The revised Policy becomes effective when it is posted in the App or on our official website.
