Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the iOS application Everyday Law Quiz (the “App”) provided by Sweet Spot Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and this official website.

2. Information stored on your device

The App does not require an account. It stores the following learning information locally on your device:

• Answer history, correct-answer status, and mastery status;
• Learning streaks and progress by topic; and
• Favorites, review status, and onboarding status.

This learning information is not sent to our servers, and we cannot view or restore it. Depending on your iOS and backup settings, it may be included in a device backup provided by Apple.

The App does not ask you to enter or grant access to your name, postal address, telephone number, contacts, photos, or precise GPS location.

3. Advertising and privacy choices

The App uses Google AdMob to deliver advertising and Google User Messaging Platform (“UMP”) to determine and manage privacy choices. These services may collect or process:

• IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address;
• Device-, app-, or advertising-related identifiers;
• Ad impressions, taps, video views, and other ad interaction data;
• Product interaction information, such as app launches; and
• Crash, performance, and other diagnostic information.

This information may be used for ad delivery and frequency management, ad measurement, service maintenance and improvement, fraud prevention, region determination, and management of privacy choices.

The App does not display an Apple App Tracking Transparency permission request. However, Google's SDK may process device- or app-related identifiers for advertising, measurement, or related purposes. Ad handling varies according to your region, consent choices, and Google's ad-serving requirements.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other applicable regions, a Google consent message is shown when required. You can later review or change available choices from “Privacy and cookie settings” in the App.

4. Information you send when contacting us

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, optional name, attachments, and any other information you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate issues, and communicate as necessary.

5. Official website access information

This official website does not use advertising, analytics tools, or behavior-tracking cookies. The hosting provider may nevertheless record IP address, browser information, access time, referrer, and similar information in server logs for operation and security.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell or disclose information we receive from you to third parties, except when required by law, needed to protect life, safety, or property, or necessary for the service providers described in this Policy to process information. Google's terms and policies apply to its advertising and consent-management processing.

7. Retention and deletion

• Local learning information remains until you delete the App. Manage information retained in device backups through your Apple account and backup settings.
• Advertising-related information is retained and deleted according to Google's policies and your consent status.
• Contact information is kept only as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain necessary records, and comply with law, and is then securely deleted.

Because we do not hold information stored only on your device, we cannot individually access or delete that information for you.

8. Security

We take reasonable safeguards against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and disclosure of information we handle. We also review the privacy practices and terms of third-party services we select.

9. External websites

The App and website link to government agencies, courts, and other third-party websites. Their respective privacy policies apply to information handled on those websites.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when laws, the App, or third-party services change. We will provide notice on this page or in the App when a change is significant. An updated Policy applies when posted on this page.
